A pelmet is the framework above a window that has both practical and aesthetic benefits – they can be recessed into the ceiling for a minimal look or be used as a feature. Both types are used to hide curtain fixtures and roller or sliding blinds.
You may currently be using our Plasterboard Profiles for this, but where extra strength is required, MDF pelmets are used to support these types of fixtures.
We can machine MDF bulkheads, light troughs, curtain pelmets and blind boxes, all made to order. They can be made with either one or both ends closed in, making the onsite installation so much quicker and the finished product so much cleaner.
