| Fabrication Method: | This fidget spinner needed to be big, but also lightweight in order to spin, so the process involved: 2 x 12mm MDF skins cut to shape, engraved with bearing detail, chamfered edges 35mm lightweight core machined out to resemble lattice to help reduce weight All 3 pieces nailed together so a total 60mm thick, lightweight shape Circular centre piece machined into dish shape to create the look of the thumb piece. |
